Mission-Based Resilience
“Mission-Based Resilience training has had a real impact in the personal and professional lives of our Sheriff command personnel and deputies. We are excited about expanding this program and making it a way of life at the Bay County Sheriffs Office. As we have made strides in improving the fitness of our workforce, we have seen a tangible benefit in gaining control of health insurance premiums and preparing deputies to respond more effectively to the physical and especially mental demands that are placed on them every day.”

“The Mission-Based Resilience program is right along the lines with everything that we see and do everyday. The stress that we have, that we think; nobody understands...”

“Professionalism, Selflessness, Commitment, Knowledge, and Friendship. These are just a few words that come to mind when I look at my ongoing experience with the training that teaches that you need Physical, Mental, Emotional, and Spiritual training to truly be at the top of your game. It's not the daily stuff. It's everything that goes on in-between. I continue to learn and understand things that make us more resilient to ALL aspects of our lives like raising a family, organization skills, and expanding our boundaries by setting goals that are outside our comfort zone.
Whether you’re in the military, a first responder, or a stay at home mother, this program can influence your life in a positive way and set you on track to conquer your fears and help guide you to see your goals become reality!”
- KEVIN LOLLEY, LIEUTENANT FIRE FIGHTER, PANAMA CITY FIRE, PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL and DEPUTY GEORGIA SMOKE DIVER, ATLANTA, GA
“Incredible two days of being tested and learning. During this short period of time, I was able to gain life changing knowledge that made me look deeper into my purpose in life. Stress coping, resilience (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual), tips for deeper sleep, the values of nutrition, breathing exercises, and cognitive restructuring. To date, I could not recommend a course that touches on all aspects of life. This course is for any individual and every organization.”
- JACOB GORMAN, FIRE FIGHTER , PANAMA CITY FIRE DEPT, PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL
“Mission-Based Resilience Training program has personally changed my outlook on stress and how to handle it. As Correctional Officers working in the prison system, we are at the pinnacle when it comes to stress levels. This system gives you a logical and systematic process to apply to any stressor you might encounter, and develop a plan to manage or relieve it. In addition to that, his system actually teaches you ways to make yourself less susceptible to the very same stress/stressor you had that previously affected you mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.”

Resilience Inmate Program
“The Resilience Inmate Program has proven to be an effective, and essential, tool to help reduce crime in Bay County. Addiction is often a factor in criminal activity and plays a major role in recidivism rates for certain offenders. The Resilience Inmate Program has demonstrated a track record of successfully breaking the addiction cycle and reducing recidivism among the program's participants- ultimately helping people get back to being productive members of society."

“After many years of stability and growth, I can say with confidence that I owe every bit of my current success to the Resilience Inmate Program..
The level of commitment that instructors provide to the gentlemen in the program is a humbling display of the most powerful compassion and strength, tied together by proven psychology, packaged & delivered in a no-nonsense, no man left behind & no excuses crash course that, as rigorous as it may seem, is designed for anyone to get through as long as they don't quit mentally!
What an amazing experience it was, building intense camaraderie with people I would have least expected, learning about my peers both through our shared words and experiences, as well as through physical struggles, working together to reach a common goal.
My journey didn't end with the programs, however- but without the discipline forged through Resilience, I don't know how or if I would have made it through the years of ankle-monitor probation that I was to complete. I knew it was up to me, and I didn't let anything get in my way.
To this day, I stay in touch with several of my Resilience Program brothers, always checking up on each other and encouraging one another, and as crushing as it is to see every now and then that somebody fell off, it's heartwarming to witness the milestones and successes of those who chose to keep on the path, and now that I have leg to stand on and success to show, I'm motivated to be here for the next generations to support in any way I can.”
